There is a proposed geothermal plant approximatley 1.5 miles away from Brawley residents. Many residents are very concerned. Moreover, they would like a full and updated EIR to be completed, instead of the EEC basing their analysis off an EIR completed back in 1979. Wow, that's older than I am! Air Quality Laws have changed, Brawley has grown, and Air Quality modeling and monitoring technology has changed.
